Inspection of a MIURA marine composite boiler identified deformation and wear in a section of the water-tube bank requiring renewal.
The affected tubes were removed and the tube-sheet area prepared for refitting. New tubes were prepared to the required dimensions, positioned inside the boiler and installed. The work was completed as a precise intervention in a confined boiler space, with careful control of tube position and alignment.
